Work for a company like EOG Resources. They pay more and new hires start with 4 weeks vacation. 1/2 day Friday’s are nice too.
"Vacation" is for closers, not for seat warmers.

Either work in the US and get paid way more or work in Europe and get 6 weeks of vacation but get paid half as much.

Because we have enough fresh college grads whom are taking countless hours from productive workers to train them up??? New grads are nothing but a load on real workers, especially when they leave after a year or two.
This is only in US. In Europe it doesn't matter whether you are college grad or not. Standard is 4-6 weeks vacation in most European country.
EM Belgium employees have 9-10 weeks vacation (so please don't wonder if they move some jobs to Czech or Hungary)
This is why I was hired by ESAF (France) after graduating from US university.

6 weeks my first year in.
Because the only people we can hire will accept getting kicked in the teeth to be employed. #winning
