I was accepted into the Enhanced CPM voluntary severance with intel with an exit date of August 15th, 2024. However, I received a letter from Intel yesterday, saying that I need to enroll in COBRA. When I login to the website provided in the letter, it asks if I want to enroll, and my cost is _$1700.00 a month, so I am confused. I am hoping its just an auto generated letter for people leaving Intel, and that Intel is still covering the cost of COBRA, for the next 18 months.
Call HR if you need the login info. Unless you never even worked there?
I took VSP last year and I assure you, Intel is paying my 1900 dollar per month family COBRA.
What is the login to see that Intel is paying your COBRA? Thank you.
Ummm yes, Intel does pay for cobra if a package was given to you.
They pay. They are paying mine. I can log into a website and look at what they pay each month.
They give you 10K to pay for cobra payments. No wonder you are getting dismissed. sheesh.
In general you pay cobra that is true. But part of the severance package clearly includes Intel paying the full cobra premium. This was stated and shown in slides in the Friday Q&A and in the FAQ. For CPM-AP and the ISP coming in Oct Intel will pay for Cobra for 12 months. For enhanced retirement Intel is paying for 18 months.
The package says they pay. Either they have it wrong or you can't fu---n read
Some can read, some can't. Those who can't, think they can, and create posts on thelayoff.com
It's in the q&a sessions and the payout document online. Intel paid. But that might vary by location.
You could get an Obama care plan for $3000 a month with monthly deductible of $1000. It’s a good deal for Democrats.
The layoffs over a year ago they paid the Cobra premiums for the first 12 months of the 18 months that Cobra lasts. Doubt they will be as generous this time.
Yeah, you need clarification on that before you click the fu--ing button. They don’t pay that you fu--ing pay that.
This is exactly why we are failing
Need clarification on that. For a lot of people that is a key piece
