There was a post here yesterday about Global Payments and Treasury Services Operations. Does anyone know where it disappeared? Or why the recruiter would be telling people not to join?

You stand out in a good way as a can do resourceful employee. You are going to go very far in life and career.
We have just deemed you to be an honorary boomer. Make us proud.
Short version of the site’s content rules (copy-paste from one of the previous posts here):
- no excessive use of foul language
- no threats & violence, bullying, slandering
- no personal names /initials (ok to name c-suits as they are public figures, not ok to name a middle manager or an employee)
- no personal info of any kind (regardless of one’s position)
- no racial/ethnic slurs
- no offtopics - political, religious rants etc
- no asking for votes (of any kind - political, union, etc)
Site mods usually just delete the post in violation, but sometimes they put you on blacklist/block you from posting any further (can be skipped by using VPN).
@g0 - We get it, there's no explicit rule against using names. You don't have to keep saying it.
The fact is that most posts with first/last name end up getting removed, period.
Let's just say people within Global Payments are either being ghosted by recruiters, or are having their requests to transfer into new roles being denied at the recruiter level, even if your interview with the HM went well.
Take that as you will.
Anyone with anything valuable to add about Global Payments and Treasury Operations?
These kind of threads always descend into absolute rubbish!
No one said that it would be the ONLY factor.
And yet, you're still whining.
Best of luck in your future endeavors, Sport.
@d7 I’m not suggesting that any feedback I receive on this anonymous forum will be the only factor behind my next decision.
It’s like buying a property and not asking someone who lived in the neighborhood what it’s like.
That’s not whining my friend.
Use your own intuition and smarts to figure it out for yourself.
You're not always going to be magically handed an inside track, in order to decide on things. Use what info. you have, weigh the pros and cons, then take your best bet. There is risk in everything, and nobody owes you anything. That's the game of life.
But whining for/needing/expecting others to lead you around instead of being self-guided is no way to go through life. You're an adult now...behave as such.
Anyone who is, or has worked in the group got any inside views of that team? I have today to decide what to do, maybe Monday
There is NO RULE against using names.
@ag+1jn4mh3ma - We're so fortunate that you spend your retirement patrolling this site & keeping us in line. We would be lost without your contributions. Thank you SO MUCH for pointing out that obvious speak-to-text error.
Yo, Junior Jelly Roll:
The word is spelled, "roles."
Post that mentioned first & last names tend to get deleted.
They're most likely telling you to avoid the group because it's terrible. Much lower pay than the rest of the bank, huge offshoring effort going on, revolving door on senior management, very junior rolls being expected to manage teams, endless chaos, etc.
