Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Why are we failing it is so easy to identify.

What are the traits of a great leader?

Empathy. One of the most valuable traits a human being can possess is the ability to understand people. ...

Awareness. Self-awareness--as well as insight when it comes to the actions of others--is always key to making the best decisions. ...

Honesty. There's nothing more despicable than dishonesty. ...

Decisiveness. ...

Optimism.

Today's VPO call not one of these things were displayed.

Lack of leadership, truly wonder how the hell he got where he is.

Yes it is that simple as to why we are failing. The entire leadership team should be replaced by the board asap.

What’s hilarious is the people responsible for the CDE/ICP $2B (yes B as in billion) debacle are the ones leading the charge in these reductions and they can’t even do this well or right. I bet their LinkedIn profiles read like a bunch of business jargon and eventually will showcase how they saved the company $Millions (salary reductions) but never mention their responsibility for losses in the Billions and the complete spiraling of a once great company. I would even guess there LinkedIn profiles probably don’t even mention many results because they probably haven’t had many successes. I can see it now Responsible for...Leads...Have oversight...Strategic planner...Oversight of $$$ budget...😂😂😂. All well and good but what actually did you do and do well, what did you succeed at and let’s see your metrics/results!

Couldn’t agree more. No key leadership behaviors or EQ. Why the Board of Directors haven’t intervened is puzzling. We in a downward spiral.....and all employees see it
