Not sure how to frame this, but when we see the deaths of production workers (one last year and one earlier this year) you have to ask yourself where is the commitment to keep employees safe and our manufacturing capabilities state of the art for the processes needed to produce the finest products on the market. In the past, this was literally unheard of. I recall the rigor it took to even tour one of our facilities and the security to get into Headquarters. Was there a few weeks ago to go to the company store and I was taken aback at the lack of security to get into 3M. I've seen 3M at it's best and now what appears to be on it's way out. Very sad.

CBG will be toast Under her leadershit
Yes, after seeing Karina’s CBG holiday message.
It is beyond saving as long as the current executives remain in the company. So if Money becomes the future CEO when MR retires, it will remain beyond saving.
Ethics has left the building. 3M is now the most unethical company in the world. No chance of survival.
It seems to me the fact 3M no longer enforces it’s Code of Conduct when the bad conduct involves senior leaders has created so much toxicity 3M cannot survive. We do not even need some of these senior leaders. As a peon if I yelled at a fellow 3Mer in the cubicle next to me I would be punished and rightly so. Employees are the foundation of a company. We have lost so many talented people but the ones creating the rot are still at 3M. It does not make sense to me.
Back to my cubicle……
Remember (vaguely) Leadership Attributes? LOL Silently got rid of anything that even remotely promotes leadership, accountability, and ethics. Want to see a microcosm of this? Come down to 3M Austin. I see it everyday.

I hope not, but I believe so.
Sadly with so many executives from outside of 3M, not sure they know or even care about the McKnight principles. Very disheartening to see what the company has become…
I don’t know if it’s beyond saving but current executives have proven that they can certainly wreck what was a good thing.
No, it is not beyond saving. There is a WINNING formula. It's called the McKnight principals.
Current leadership is incapable of bringing this company back. Period. Just look at the stock price and performance vs peers over 5 years. Virtually every major move under CEO has been a failure and set the company back. Any recent semblance of recovery in the stock price is due to cost-cutting moves. How much further can that go? Classic example of how CEO and Chairman duality completely destroys accountability and shareholders and employees suffer because of it.
3M is not agile enough to make the changes needed to be saved. Honestly the whole company needs a gutting and to be completely rebuilt.
If you work here, you know the answer is yes.
