saudi aramco got no PIP what. and those who move to chandra astri with retail sale will escape the PIP soon. and of course, the ones who are retrenched will be free from this nightmare soon.
only people who will be face this PIP are perhaps the office roles who stay in hbf that are not sold to anyone.
Winter is coming, embrace yourself!!!
LCM is retiring, VP got impacted.
Transformations are on the way.
What else?
@8wny wishful thinking
@8w79 does it mean no more PIP for employees?
@8w79 no wonder the layoff 2025 impacted mostly office people. Cos pant people need to be sold to saudis? wow if true. Then maybe no move to pioneer by 2027
Low key celebrating potential premature shutdown event so it becomes less busier for most of us
Word on the street is that Saudi Aramco will purchase the Singapore site as an outlet for Middle Eastern crude.
Heard divestment is coming.
Everyone already knew it is a sinking ship, just waiting for time to sink only.... just do minimum and pretend to be interested can liao... You think this company will invested in your growth? The senior management will only bother about thier growth not yours, unless you can help them to grow their pocket...
if not just enjoy work end then off your phone... why bother to be on standby or must be 24/7 ready for this company...
In the end of the day, they will just PIP you off or give you a warning letter make you leave nia...
You can see it with your own eyes what has been happing until now... this company will just get worst only.... Since 2017 we already started to see the cracks
If you have a question, ask directly. Why used Slido and questions are being filtered. It would be helpful to address this with the executive team, as they should be able to provide an answer.
If you lie to your employees as an "executive or senior management" at an open forum you can be criminally liable in a court of law in most countries around the world. No "executive" wants to answer a question where they have to choose between lying to deceive the employees or telling the truth and limiting their career advancement. That is why all employee questions are "filtered" to the innocuous questions only.
Bad management leading bad example. Have you start seeing instances of people planning their "retirement" holidays on company expenses instead of giving opportunities to develop the younger folks?
so obvious that the host was picking the questions. Those guys are filled with hidden agenda and power hungry. No idea what the MLT was talking about AI and stuff, but AI is welcome to replace my job anytime
@8vaz what to do, host busy censoring slido questions, I think 7 out of 10 disappeared before the session end
After the townhall yesterday, I got more clarity on the new MLT family members rather than our future career progression.
Well done.
looks like many from crispy are leaving, from the big g-ns now small g-ns as well
What type of off boarding? Is this part of the lay off?
Family & Mental Health:
· Communicate Openly: Have a family meeting to discuss the situation and the plan. Align on budget adjustments.
· Manage Stress: Use this period to exercise, pursue hobbies, and volunteer. The National Care Hotline (1800-202-6868) is a resource if needed.
· Support System: Lean on friends, former colleagues, and professional networks. Many in Singapore have been through restructuring and can offer empathy and advice.
We are officially informed to be off boarding in early forth quarter of this year. What is the contingency plan?
No more free snacks for Pioneer office? :(
@8q9r power, you hear the rumour but don't say hear from where. Stop trying to fish for information la
What is the expected timeline of their departure?
@8q9r not sure. i have not heard anything.
Is the rumour true? The rumour where our senior leaders in HBF were impacted in this round ?
The sudden layoffs of senior leaders, once considered immune, has shattered company trust. Known more for polished talk than tangible work, their dismissal exposes a credibility crisis. Morale has collapsed. Skepticism abounds about their ability to survive a competitive external world that rewards substance over rhetoric.
Does SG EM have any scandalous boss-employee stories like the ppty one right now?
lol top 300. big deal
Exxonmobil has make the list of top 300 employers that support career growth!! Congrats to everyone, who are still in EM, your future is bright hahaha!! To those who took package or had leave already, too bad! You will not be able to grow with EM anymore
https://www.channelnewsasia.com/singapore/opportunity-index-top-300-employers-career-growth-5872971
@8nvn sure get pip one what. But just su-k it up and do the pip with good attitude lah, then what else can they do to you?
Remember you have already been communicated, and can go to MOM if the supervisor make it too difficult. Of course feel damn bitter and sour but keep your eye at the pot of gold at the end.
Once you walk out of here who remembers who pip? But the money is in your bank
@8nt0 as long no "pip" in between.
ok lah think about it got 2 more years of salary plus a package at the end.
remember to save your leave to encash. the carry forward one can encash too. so can potentially be paid 35 working days (almost 2 months) at the end, if this year you carry forward 10 days and your leave entitlement is 25 days (i.e. you worked 20+ years)
Me too......4q27. How to stay motivated? Still have two rounds of PA :-((
@8mj6 mine 4Q27 sia… imagine that
damn, you been farming almost 10 years, good job. That is the way to go, because you don't get fairly assessed on what you have done. If you have stayed on while working lesser and not getting NSI, you have gamed the system well enough.
Just continue to farm, farm until it is your last day….
Ever since 2017, who still give a f@rk whether you give in your best or not? Even yes your superior will say no, not good enough to gaslight you.
The most funniest thing is at that point of time, people still cursing me for saying “just farm and stay in the game, don’t need to do so much… you are not DW, why there is a need to sacrifice so much? In the end they will just pip you off. For some lucky one Exxon at least give them package to sent them off”
How about those unlucky ones? Give in so much of their time in the end Exxon just give them a middle finger hahas!!!!
@8mj6 Quiet quitting, lay flat, rest & vest…!
It is very weird that how EM management handled the situation. On one hand they tell you your last day will be end of 2026, on one hand they still say you must work hard to support. Do they think people are robotsss, end of service then unplug the power supply everything settled? what the hexxk, the stupididity is across the board.
There is no real leadership in that group, the capable ones already left long ago, then all the SGrean expats came back and took the position but could not stand up against their US masters, only know how to be toxic to local workforce. Many of them just want to get by the days and can take huge packages from Exxon, so the signal is very clear: exxon will get the fxxk out of SG soon, you and I will be able to witness the day.
End of era my friends, no point lingering around the sinking ship with any hope, spend 90% of your time explore new opportunities while waiting for your last day, you don't give a fxxk like what they do to you (we learn from the management)
Good luck.
I’m told my expected last day in 4Q 2026. It’s only 8 Jan and I already can’t stand to pretend I care for another day
@8mf9 stay also got lobang what, property agent still got salary and CPF. Good deal wor.
so far I have 2 FLS friends kena PIP..... hai~. what to do. told them to look for other lobangs outside of EM and expect a pay cut.
