To confirm is the AH meeting this Thurs or next Thurs? I'm in model-e software and don't recall the notice unless I'm missing something?

Has Doug done anything well?
Roz Ho - labeled the great savior of software defined connected vehicle. Gone.
GE2 - delayed and possibly canceled. Oakville will likely be closed.
P800 - delayed and zero chance that this program will launch well.
FNV4 - absolute chaos
T3 - skunkworks project out of the valley. So neat! (not). But the billon dollar question is, how will it work with the typical GPDS planning, WERS, purchase part sourcing, product launch gateways, complexity management, production scheduling?

These hints from Jimmy that he gives to the media about how the skunkworks team is doing great things by being creative and not using the Ford established process really does highlight the fundamental issue, Ford has a broken quality management system. The development tools are antiquated and the typical approval process is slow. There are too many layers of middle management in Dearborn that are more focus on building little fiefdoms than they are actually making a competitive product that benefits our customers. The LLs have been able to create their large fiefdoms due to the inefficient way off working and they have zero incentive to improve the situation.

The US based GSRs have paid the price of poor leadership.

@zai, you are bang on. I can across this site when I worked in Ford and could not believe the disconnect between what was written here and what was on the ground. Most people, like myself, were or are proud to work at Ford and believe in where we are going. I retired after 30 years but now spend my time trolling on sites like this trying to put in false info so that this site truly becomes useless.

I think this site use to be of value but in the past 12 months it’s clear there is more cr-p than rumours. All my notes are coded well, drop a few key terms that outsiders think are real but say enough incorrect that real Ford people know it’s BS.

To my former colleagues who may be looking for stuff here. Please get back to focusing on building great vehicles. You work at a great company!

I was part of the initial wave of Team Edison and am still a part of Model E. Our morale continues to be very high.

I suspect that the morale amongst the Ford Blue colleagues is lower now that Ford has made it clear that 100% of those roles will eventually be eliminated of sent to low cost countries.

@zaia+1r8FYJkw Not sure what facility you're in, bub, but morale is pretty much in the toilet everywhere. Non-union was awful before the targeted strikes and had continued to worsen. UAW workers are starting to realize the Fain and the company sold them a bill of goods and the post strike reality is a shell of the promises the UAW made going into negotiating the new contract.

The revolving door of employees continues. Quality continues to tank. Raises and bonuses do not keep up with the rate of inflation. The company continues to pi-s away cash on pet projects (can you say Train Station?). And now there are real signs that consumers are saying no to ever increasing vehicle prices.

It's a $--- show and you have clowns running all of it.

If Bill was smart (which he is not) he'd can Farley, admit he made a mistake and throw the kitchen sink to get Hinrichs back away from CSX. That would be the only hail Mary he could throw at this point to try to pull out a win.

Otherwise, we are looking at bankruptcy in the next 3-4 years and all of us (union and non -union alike) being out of jobs.

This site has a small number of regulars. Disgruntled regulars.

Rightly or wrongly disgruntled, they are a very small representation of any Ford facility.

And they make every molehill a mountain because of the anonymity.

Anonymous like the k k k....

Just like how the people here seem to feel about DEI and minorities and women at Ford Motor!

@4lca+1r8FYJkw You are correct, not only HR reads this site, I know for a fact Farley and other top executives do, too. They’ve accidentally let it slip out when there was something specific written here.

Guaranteed this site is more indicative of employee sentiment than any Pulse survey! That's the power of true anonymity.

I expect that the last poster will need to look up the big words.

@4lln+1r8FYJkw

This website does NOT reflect the Pulse of the company. This website is made up a small minority of Ford employees - and mostly ex-employees who were laid off for a reason - who are anonymous and loud.

Ford is as profitable as ever and most of the employees are happy with their jobs / coworkers / leadership.

Your jobs are leaving the US for cheap labor as the LL6's and above continue to make mistakes and get rewarded.

Ford sending all design, engineering, testing, manufacturing to other countries!

Ford is firing groups only to hire low wage employee's!

Let's see what happens after the election and see how Billy and Jimmy's politics hold up. Bye, bye funding!!

@4lca+1r8FYJkw isnt it interesting that they have the Pulse scores...but this site shows the real Pulse of the company... a truly free press here.

The meeting was ended with "do not post this infomration on the layoff site."
A high level LL accidentally admitted they discuss this site at that level.
Everything posted here really does get read by both HR and Farley's staff, and the Freep and WSJ. Keep posting.

Ol'e Farley is from Argentina, he wants to give jobs to all of Mexico, Central and South America. He stood on stage wearing that goofy Detroit strong t-shirt in front of the dealer body; and yet he abandons his home town. Farley, we now understand why your grandpa's Ford dealership failed miserably, you are the only Leader to have lost five billion dollars and then double down on your rhetoric and not admit failure. Almost on par with the losses sustained during the firestone fiasco. Delusional, just like your cousin, except your cousin was funny.... you are just a clown. He has nothing better to do than come here to the forum to defend the insults, rather sad. Post ID: @tdo+1r8FYJkw is JF, so obvious.
