Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

#WeAreExxonMobil

We were once the most valuable company in the world 8 years ago, now we don't even make top 50, we are not even the most valuable oil company in US anymore, because we 'Compete to Win'.We got kicked out of Dow and are piling up debt to pay dividends to fill our own pockets, but it hardly matters because we have 'the most resilient portfolio ever'. We ensure spreading the toxic culture of visibility, id–tic safety, fake diversity, brown nosing, non transparency, nepotism, to an extent that it takes a toll on the business, because 'people are our most valuable resource'. We let engineers suffer at the hands of management everyday, from gut wrenching hypocrisy and lack of leadership, that too in an engineering company, because we are really a 'Technology company'.We punish employees for raising their voices and questioning, we don't even give them respectful honest layoffs, because we 'put ethics above everything else'. We have leaders who can't even admit the truth and face the situation and their own employees, because of their 'care and integrity'.

We do this consistently around the globe, because 'We're a truly Global company'.

I hope our 'leaders', 'managers', 'supervisors' read this and hang their head in shame, and feel remorse for at least one day. Please act like human beings for a change.

Look from a different perspective, as long as EM remains in existence - it is a burden and slap to decent society,

Have you not read the statement made by EM when we are out of DOW! We have the best portfolio in the last 20 years today. Doing a great job! So much WIN!

DOW will regret not including ExxonMobil!

A sad but true depiction. The current CEO certainly inherited a bag of rocks from his predecessor, but now almost 4 years later we are clearly worse off than we were. I always thought we would make another acquisition like Mobil, but that hardly seems possible now. In fact, with our market cap getting so low we could become a target. Especially with that 'most resilient portfolio ever'. The hunter becomes the prey.

Fire that CSR VP guy first. While you are doing it get rid of every single employee from that rat hole. Also take down mo–ns who started there and now moved on to other parts of organizations. Identify each and everyone of them and fire them

I was talking to my FLS and hes on the verge of the retirement mark. He got me hired on 2 years ago and he said "unfortunately you still have a long way to go. will Exxon Mobil even be around then". I wasn't hurt and said true while laughing out loud. Hope he makes it but in the meantime, saving up for a rainy day

Wonder how DW feels knowing CVX closed yesterday as the most valuable oil company in the US after having that spot since the Standard Oil days.

Shame on these self acclaimed leaders who failed their roles without them realising and their inability to reflect on their wrongful act.
Not worth to add value to the company.
