No one wants to buy an expensive new car then get dinged 100 bucks a month for OnStar which they'll never use, or 50 bucks a month to be allowed to use the heated seats in their own car.

I understand why car companies want that sweet monthly subscription money after a sale, but there's nothing that people want from a car company that it would be fair to make them keep paying for forever.
