@9sjv you're not UK based, clearly written by somebody overseas, its so obvious, sounds like it's written by somebody who's bitter and has a grudge against the UK.

This topic's got sending me spiralling down into hysterical laughter and it’s literally just 3 types of people:

Group A: The UK cringe crew who have been here way too long and are getting absolutely cleared by people who actually understand the assignment and embrace the future. Yes Robert, that includes you.

Group B: Trolls from actual NPC-wrecking offices like Hyderabad and Ho Chi Minh who are literally just feasting on Group A’s tears. Growth everywhere except in the UK, yet you can't accept you are now the past.

Group C: A few (ex)managers trying to control the narrative but they’re failing it’s actually tragic. You have left the company and/or are still within it biding your time until you either get your severance pay or retire, or a mix of both.

Idk y’all, which faction are you claiming to be with? Lets cook in the replies because this topic is getting dull.

Oh and lets make no mistake here, I'm group A. I just work 2 hours per day and wait for my severance pay. Sorry Rob.

Group B: Trolls from actual NPC-wrecking offices like Hyderabad and Ho Chi Minh who are literally just feasting on Group A’s tears. It’s giving generational hating. NPC's gonna NPC

Group C: A few (ex)managers trying to control the narrative but they’re failing so hard it’s actually tragic. Especially you, who doesn't even work here anymore but still participates. You are so so tragic

It is such a small amount of people affected in the UK which explains why not much activity on here as this site is mostly used by UK people

I've seen a couple of settlement agreements shared with various people around the business over the last couple of months. There doesn't seem to be any clause which is actionable to prevent people talking. Same as any restrictive covenant preventing you from working for a supplier or competitor. Any solicitor worth their professional status would overrule it and strike it out.

Why has there been very little news on those who have been made redundant? Software and hardware? If so many people were being let go, you would think more would have been said by those who have departed on the socials, Linkedin, etc. Even Keyloop's Glassdoor reviews are silent

This is not an advert or neither am I paid commission. Any of you looking for legal protection insurance, then many home/ car insurance policies will give you the option to add basic legal cover which includes employment disputes as a default amount on most policies. Expect to pay around £29.99 to add this.
Going for the advanced legal cover (if offered), can be purchased sometimes for as little as £9.99 extra, this will give you double the amount of legal cover. (£100,000)

Hoping they don't close Bristol as one member of staff practically lives there 13 hours a day, 250 days a year.

Served notice to all customers and shut up shop. Always a pivotal business unit to the Kerridge business strategy of a one stop shop and putting the customer first. Always highly profitable and hugely valued by customers. So many wonderful people worked within HW over many years. It’s sad end and just another death nail from the muppets that FP have deployed to drive this business in to the ground. Once again they don’t care about the customers and the staff because they are all about their bank balance and bullsh-t image. RIP Bristol HW :-(

It’s interesting how our customers, mainly in main land Europe are ramping up on legal advisors when it comes to digitalisation, security and GDPR. Wonder where that originates from? Maybe Keyloop need to invest more money in that area as well.

@9r52 People must be gone I guess, either that or they are too scared to post anything. They might give something away which they shouldn't.

To refer to this post:
"I've been told by a reliable source that there is going to be a large number of layoffs in Software Support and Hardware, looks like they're replacing Software Support positions in India."

Have the redundancies concluded now? This page has gone fairly quiet of late.

Many people are saying they can see inconsistencies with the collective processes.

https://www.monacosolicitors.co.uk/redundancy/sham-redundancy-examples-and-guidance

"For example, let’s say that your employer restructures the business, and your department no longer exists. They might automatically assume that means you’re redundant. However, on closer inspection, they might find that someone in another department is doing your work. in that case, it wouldn’t be a redundancy; it would more likely be an unfair dismissal."

Let's face it, they weren't all young. They were and are directionless, lacking experience and are way out of their depth in knowledge in key areas. A great many hard working employees have been failed by others lining their own pockets.
Without leaders with integrity, businesses will always fail and someone will always get sc--wed over.

A truly embarrassing situation... young, inexperienced managers trying in every way to meet all the indicators... how sweet... among other things, none of the indicators were seriously conceived with customers in mind...

Exactly this reason why people have and are quiet quitting. Enjoy your life while you can and enjoy the world while you still have the freedom to travel.
Life as we know it, is about to change. There is more to life than working for some tin pot organisation, who really do not value or care for you and only see you as a cell on a spread sheet

Did anyone recently see the episode of question time around AI?
The UK is basically up the creek without a padle.
UK economy is primarily based on providing services, services which can now be easily automated by AI, along with companies such as Keyloop shifting work to other countries, its not just Keyloop going down the pan, the whole country is.
But that's fine, because when nobody has jobs, nobody will be left to afford to buy anything, there will also be a huge loss of tax payers. You begin to question life as a whole, fk the system, go and build a log cabin in the woods, grow your own food and generate your own power, enjoy what life you have left, you only get 1.
The end is near to a civilised society as we know it, next come riots and civil unrest, I'm a firm believer of that!
