Anyone know of a good US based employment legal firm to contact? Was told I'm on a PIP and will be laid off. I have a disability (it's noted in my records) and over retirement age. The client and client partner made up some stories about me, lets call them friends of our ceo. They also wanted to get the PA off project who was black from the CIC. I fought for her but I got the sc--ws for my effort. Should I just lick the wounds and move on or fight fight fight?

'invest well over the years then that’s on you'
where on fraud street
maybe you can use your tremendous financial skills
to pay down the 37 trillion in US national debt
that's yours
I'm on a PIP and will be laid off.
Usually one or the other, no?
Hopefully you are really wanting to work instead of needing to work if you are over retirement age since if you still need the money and didn’t save and invest well over the years then that’s on you
It’s not clear why you think you don’t belong on PIP. You need to have full proof of that. Not sure why you mention disability and being at retirement age, neither gives you a free pass, Trust me I know.
As someone who KNOWS, DO NOT go with Lichton & Liss-Riordan PC
I highly suggest Wright & Greenhill in Austin TX. They currently have a lawsuit in NY City for this.
At the very least, interview them first.
If you’re going to fight, you better have documentation. Emails, witnesses, notes, dates, a paper trail.
You should find a lawyer in your state, as employment laws vary greatly by state. The lawyer will also determine whether you have grounds to file a complaint with the EEOC. You should know, though, that under this administration, the EEOC, which was already pretty neutered, is being gutted as we speak. No one is protected now. If anything, people are now being threatened with persecution for not being bigoted enough in engaging with their fellow humans.
IBM also does not care even if you have evidence of Alvind himself SAing an employee in the supply closet in Armonk. IBM has an army of attorneys just to fight wrongful termination claims.
It’s not about the rightness or merit of your claims; we live in a world where there is a profound imbalance of power, and it’s about to get exponentially worse because a lot of people voted for their own oppression and to remove the guardrails, to make powerful people above the law, even as they complain about how terrible it is and are negatively impacted by it directly.
Divorces are also expensive. Even if you get a settlement, and that’s a big IF, it will mostly be the lawyers who get the spoils.
You’re over retirement age? Be glad you lasted as long as you did.
Not trying to dissuade you, but go in with your eyes open. Good luck.

Every situation is different, but just from reading the OP I'd say it's hard to "fight fight fight" when the client isn't happy. In general, when the client wants someone off a project it doesn't matter what the reason is. Race? Disability? Senior? Doesn't matter if the client doesn't want you there.
The OP wants a lawyer...why? To stay on the payroll? Sure...I guess...but past retirement? What did IBM do wrong, and what remedy is being sought that will fix that wrong?
Situational relationships do not equal friendship, they are transactional in nature. People generally do not help each other at work any longer unless they are forced. Blame falls squarely on the recruiters hiring bad actors.
