On the plus side, QCOM's current "race-to-the-bottom" business mentality is perfectly suited for selling products to Walmart for their suite of "budget" smartphones.

One can figure when Apple, mediatek, intel, google, xiamei, etc.. does the same as Samsung this is going to put a serious dent in crapdragon market

Here's the thing, SS doesn't even have to hit it out of the park with Exynos. If its good enough, they get the double cost advantage of using their own silicon from their foundries, can fully customize/optimize it for their own stack w/o having to share that with others and enabling the competition, and aren't jerked around by QC's schedule/issues/limitations. Furthermore, they can have a secondary market of selling their previous generation's silicon to 3rd tier companies, if they wanted. Its obvious they have seen the writing on the wall (a la Apple) and are moving in that direction, to the extent that they can. Its not the end for QCT, but Q will definitely be taken down a notch or two, as you can already see happening.
