Sadly most options either provided minor gains or expired underwater. So here I am.

21 years and you didn’t retire on options?
Me: 54+21=75
Where do I sign?
Called last Friday and asked Cisco HR if there were any early retirement offers being made in 2019. Person I spoke with said he hadn't heard of any such thing.
I suspect you’re both right. You would have to be over 50 AND service + age >=65.
isn't it years of service + age so you could have worked at cisco for 15 years, be age 50 and meet the 65 requirement? I think that would probably make the youngest saying you're fresh out of college when you started at cisco age 23 and 44 now you'd make the cut for early retirement?
I highly doubt there are any Cisco employees 65 or over. Maybe upper management or a token individual that legal parades around
I was told 65 too.
@3muo: I have no reason to discount you, but anyone over 50 sounds aggressive. Wouldn’t half of Cisco up and leave? There are other companies out there.
@YWAKonT-3pgp wrong, the age requirement is 50 years old, period.
Is 1 year pay just base salary or is it base salary plus yearly bonus?
Age plus years of service >= 65
@YWAKonT-2akw so full of c-ap. that is not the way ER's are offered. It is mass offering or none at all. Geez, please get real here.

Does anyone know what the qualification criteria were?
Yeah one year pay two medical here too.
I just received my early retirement offer. 1 year pay and 2 years medical. I’m thinking it over....
Does anyone have any details about what this early retirement offer might be? And can anyone over a certain age qualify? Can you request this early retirement offer? Any details would be appreciated.76
In 2019 has anyone actually been offered in writing an actual early retirement package?
I just heard the same thing from my management. I will be taking advantage of it for sure.
NO WAY, ER will not happen again
Confirmed. Just had manager discussion.
will never be done again. I got to do it last time and came back 3 yrs later... lol
In a pilot group to decide package.
the best people left many years ago, no one with marketable skills stays in a toxic environment
Although I agree with the reality that Cisco won’t offer early retirement again, I am going to ask a question about that thinking. Why is the best people leaving thru an early retirement option and therefore Cisco actually honoring their contributions a bad thing and why do employees accept that as ok? Point being is that in the back drop of “employment at will” we have lost touch of what it means for good companies to treat good employees well.
You don’t get it.
Never happen again. Last time they offered all there best people left.
