Inspur on the DoD's latest "Chinese Military Companies"

Maybe at his next Office Hours someone can ask AK why IBM is still partnering with Inspur when the U.S. DoD has them on the current list of Chinese Military Companies? He shuts down the Research and Systems labs last year but this partnership persists?

So long as they work cheaper than US and EU workers, then any Asian IBMer is welcome.

Not if they are a citizen of mainland China anymore.

But I think the rule is, if you can work cheaper than an existing employee (of any company anywhere) and that work can be done over the internet, you might be able to get that job.

This puts people that work from home or the office in an 'expensive' country at risk.

This all depends on whether you can do quality work of course, but a lot of companies can't tell if the work is quality till too late.

Maybe the El Reg journos that lurk on this forum will pick up on this and write a column, so it receives more media exposure?

AK needs to fill the depleted IBM coffers and get his supersized bonus for 2024 in any way he can.

He's the leader of Corruption at IBM, that is why he is CEO.
