Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

Anyone receive their severance yet?

My last day with Macy's was 3/31 and I signed my severance paperwork on 4/2. Macy's said severance would be processed within 4-6 weeks of signature. Today is exactly 6 weeks. Just curious if anyone else is in the same boat or if others with similar timelines have received their severance. I've reached out to HR, but no response yet...

I was part of the 3/31 layoff in SF and my severance has been processed and received today! Now just need to return my equipment and that chapter will be complete.

When I called HR yesterday, they gave me an eta of Memorial day. I checked Insite today and my severance was posted. So check Insite. If you signed paperwork later than 4/2 you may have to wait a little bit longer though.

I am a full time furloughed exec in NJ- Macys coded me as a part timer / independent contractor. Thanks guys! only getting minimum benefits. After going through insite- their response was " we apologize and have corrected the error- please re-file with NJ".
That's a bit impossible since ya cant get ahold of anyone in NJ UI.
just remember- You Count-

Yeah don’t know why position would matter at all. It doesn’t.
