As somebody mentioned previously, this is the time when we're most likely to learn about any major plans for the future, including layoffs. I think we can all agree that there'll be some cuts, that's at this point inevitable, but how big they'll be remains to be seen. I'll admit, waiting to hear something in the next week or two is not going to be fun.

Rumor bonus this year is 120%
Bonus on schedule
Bonuses are not happening coming May unless your someone special.
More BS, it seems.
I was told by hr that warn is not required for work from home employees
Can the the WFH designation just be applied, even when they're barring a full-scale return to the office - plus under what circumstances do HR voluntarily share that information about WARN with employees?

California warn notice is only required if > 50 people are let go. I'm not sure how many are left at Vantara.
Bonuses are for Director or above?
Wouldn't a 20% RIF suggest they would need to file a WARN notice in California?
This max of 2 weeks of severance would be a big shift for Vantara. If accurate this is essentially setting the place on fire. I expect big Hitachi would be sensitive to the negative feedback in the market.
The news just hit - manager leaked it accidentally. 20% wholesale RIF worldwide. No bonus pay (i.e. two weeks for each year worked). Instead - two weeks pay maximum. Also - no Cobra or outplacement services. Employees will be notified by EOW - with April 30th targeted as last day.

No news is good news.
