There's all kinds of work but everyone is an analyst and they don't do work. People get promoted just because there's extra money in the expense center's budget. Target could be really successful again if they stopped putting a bandage on everything so everything limps along and I think it is lack of system knowledge that makes this happen. It's sad, so sad.

Take the info posted in this thread with a grain of salt. There haven't been detailed warnings from insiders re: layoffs here in two years because there aren't mass layoffs planned.

Layoffs will occur on Termination Tuesday, 1/24/17. You heard it here first.
The rumor is Feb Wk2.
I don't think Target will be laying groups of individuals off this year. Labor is tight and they don't want the reputation hit again and also risk losing good people who are tired of the negative crap at HQ. Now, they most certainly will be firing non preforming category leaders following quarterly results.
