The company has been stagnant since the split, it is difficult to get excited about anything at COP. I do believe we are in for a long steady decline and very little opportunity for growth for the mid level employees. The Middle class (mid management and individual contributors) will slowly see their compensation diminish while the executives will pad their wallets! I hope I am incorrect!

We need more layoffs, more asset dispositions, and of course, more compensation for the ELT for having to make those tough decisions.

It’s hard to put a value on happier employees vs buying back stock. Of course, this is never true for our leadership forum and especially the ELT, who did quite well because they are so valuable.

Disappointing. Sending a signal. Work for less or leave.
