Even if I had more job security here, even if I was paid better and the manager was a person who knew what unrealistic expectations are - I would still be urgently looking for a way out of here.
The reason is that work/life balance is non-existent here.
I'm sure that there are other companies where it is bad but don't think there are many where it is worse than here, or are there?
I don't like what I have become - a depressed, dissatisfied man. No job is worth it, health has no price.

Just responding to this situation.Your TM will blame (you) for not taking lunch or reaching out to get a break in, they will say it was on (you) to get a lunch hour, since you worked through a lunch hour and got paid for it, the company did no wrong.
Does that make it right? No, but this is a situation where you need to either break away or accept that it was a paid hour.
I am convinced this company does not care about anyones work life balance. The person we report to listens to us but then does the opposite so it’s pretty much all talk and no action. Our leadership cares about calls and doesn’t care how many hours it takes or if you have to work almost every weekend. One serious issue I have is that I worked a network call yesterday that went for 12 hours. Me and the person at the other site did not receive a meal break so doesn’t that violate state labor law. I thought if you work 8 hours you get at least an hour break in certain states and 30
Minutes mininun in others. Correct me if I’m wrong as I am going to bring this up with Management.
I left ncr a year ago but I still check this page. My health, marriage and relationship with my kids improved 100% since leaving ncr. What people are telling you here is very true. Take the advice.
Definitely use the PTO time that you have. Don’t let them take advantage and make you feel bad because they will try and schedule you for all kinds of work right after you come back from PTO like they do to me all the time. Reach out to an agency if need be to help do some of the job searching for you to come up with better opportunities. It’s a time consuming process but worth it if you can get out of here and find something better. This place definitely not worth your health.
NCR never ceases to amaze me. The Management of this company always finds a way to disappoint. Bad communication, lack of caring and meaningless once a week meetings. That goes for not only my TM but my TL who is a relentless taskmaster and another choice word I won’t repeat here.
Dude please take it easy and take some time off or something. No job is worth your health.
