I was affected... it was traumatic at first, but here I am a year later with a better job and a better company. There is a great life beyond Sabre. What got me to the good place I am now is:
Kept good relationships with former Sabre people
Networked
Stayed positive
Used available resources to sharpen my interview skills and resume - all at no cost
Made every day count in my job search
At the end of the day, I had 3 different job offers to choose from... LESSON LEARNED: Just because Sabre didn’t find me valuable enough to keep, there were sveral other companies that wanted me. DON’t UNDER ESTIMATE YOURSELF AND WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE. :)
