Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Anyone know the # you call to speak to a counselor.

I know Wholefoods has it but can't remember How to find it and don't trust tms or leadership to ask.

WFM expects us to be happy hippies instead of providing mandated mental health coverage. 5 sessions a year isn't enough for people with anxiety or depression. After that it costs $60 a session. Don't call your EAP back for anything serious because they won't help you beyond that, or just lie and say your cat died to get more sessions because then it's a "new issue." Or you could just get drunk or hit the bowl every day to deal like the vast majority of team members.

Lifescope counseling has nothing to do with Whole Foods. It's pretty awesome, you get 5 free counseling sessions with someone they hook you up with in your area. Some of you are really paranoid. Whole Foods does not have as much power as you think it does. After all, it's really just a fancy grocery store.

Don't trust anything even remotely connected to this corporation. It has proven to use illegal tactics whenever it sees fit. WFM feels it's above the law. It only takes a little bit of research to see exactly how corrupt and arrogant they truly are. #wholefoodsmarket #TeamWFM

Do you came here to ask? Why not ask a fellow TM ? You must be lonely and felt a need to hang with the cool kids.Another dimwit who somehow kept his job.

Don't trust that you can talk to them about anything. Leadership can and will get details if they want.

Go to the grapevine and look up the TMAP hotline number (or search Team Member Assistance Plan). Should be listed somewhere in that search.

Wait it's in the GIG book, (877)273-2715

I believe it is offered through United Healthcare. Call them and they will direct you.
