So H1B engineers were brought in with the assumption that there is a lack of local engineers. Right? Now, when the company starts to layoff, it means they have extra resources that it is needed. So the original reason that they came, doesn't exist anymore. Thus, naturally and logically they should be the first to let go (without any insult or disrespect) However, I don't think it is the case. Am I missing something or it works differently?
