Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Where do you shop now?

We do about half and half @ Aldi and Kroger's. So far Sprouts hasn't appealed at all. We were devoted WFM shoppers before . I know a lot of other TMs who used to be, too.

TJs, farmer's markets. It's warm enough where I live so that there are markets open all year. I used to spend quite a bit of coin at whole foods though, the discount was a major reason I wanted a job there. Now I buy an apple for lunch and don't have interest in shopping there anymore.

I shop at Kroger and Costoco. I won't spend a dime at the Whole. #WFMteammember

I'm sorry you're such a snob that wouldn't consider all stores when delving back into shopping without WFM. Aldi has a lot of organic and all natural items that are very good. I can get an 8oz bag of chia seeds for 2.99. Yeah, I'll take that deal.

You were a 'devoted WFM shopper' and now you shop 50% at Aldi??? That is just BS that makes no sense and shows you are full of it like most of the people posting here. Anybody that has looked at what Aldi sells knows what I am talking about...talk about 'apples and oranges.'

Costco, Albertson's, Kroger

Save way too much money...even with my discount I can't stomach the prices at WFM.

Used to really despise going to Kroger. Since a lot of them have remodeled, and look a little more like whole foods, and since they carry most of what I ever need at whole foods, there I go. Also costco, TJs, Publix, and when the weather's nicer it will be farmer's markets close to my home.

Has anyone ever noticed when customers ask us if we carry a certain item, and our response is 'no' because 'they can get it at kroger'? Well, it looks like there's where everyone is going. One of the many crippling asinine decisions of management, good job. You'll notice that Kroger hasn't said 'sorry, we don't carry this because WFM does, go there'. No, they have management that listens to customers and wants customers to shop in their store. Our approach is to assume that we can just shove another substitute into someone's shopping cart and that will somehow make them want to come back. That's the definition of arrogance. (Plus, guess what, they ain't coming back).

H.E.B.

Supplements and all natural average almost half off savings compared to WFM.
