I applied for a part-time job and was paid as a part-timer. However, now I do as much work as if I were a full-timer. I don't know if the something similar happens with other retailers, it is very possible, however, I don't want to work under these conditions anymore. This is awful. Is there any other solution but to leave?

Lowes is garbage. When your ASM laughs off your physical injuries on the clock and gives you the "just tough it out" response you know it's a c-r-a-p place to work. When your mgmt hides in so called "important conference calls" for hours with no staffing on floor you know its c-r-a-p. And when you're PT and they ignore your specific availability it's time to give that notice..the TODAY notice. Just ghost em like they do you.
Unless you want to be abused by Lowes management I would just quit. They will keep you as a part timer but work you as a full timer without the benefits. You can try and talk to your ASM about your availability but it never works, they will schedule you when ever they want.
You can try to get bumped up to full-time BUT understand that Lowe’s does not want full-timers that they are obligated to pay a full-time weekly salary. They want part-timers that they can schedule 0 hours if they need to cut costs. You will be taking a big chance of losing your full-time job if they need to make cuts. It isn’t worth it.
