We worked all through the pandemic to provide essential freight to the nation, and what is are reward, to be let go. I hate these people with a passion.

Elkhart Engine house laid off 3 more Machinist, 1 is injured and 2 bumped back to being laborers. So we are going to Lose 1 laborer.

They cut the the guys who inspect equipment and now there is a derailment every other day. Now to pay for it they cut more inspectors and so the cycle begins again.

Overheard a conversation between Avriel Sandival and someone at the GPA that the yard is going to be short lined. RJ Corman will take over port and some short line will handle all industry work.

So there are quite a few posts on furloughs today, but most of the posts lack information. So, what locations got hit this morning and how many of each craft?

Has anybody received their additional $600 from railroad unemployment? I can't get through to anyone at RRB to get answers. Seems like we are the only ones who haven't received it yet. I am hoping they pay us the backpay owed as well.
