Was told today now that next level has been announced, they will move down to smaller dept restructuring and review. This has to be completed by early March. Next round of layoffs will occur at Director level and down in April 2023.

At Nielsen and in corporate in general, being mediocre is enough and no one is asking more from you anyway. Never do you best, just pretend you do, be smarter, use them and they use you.

That is a question to which I have no answer. It is incomprehensible that any company decides to keep the biggest slackers at the expense of excellent employees, as is the case here.
