No structure, no management. People doing whatever they please. Management is gaggle of friends club. Written policies and procedures are for show only, NO ONE follows them. Too many ERP SYSTEMS that constantly change with no training on how to... — read more

Bammel Layoffs

Has anyone heard anything on when Bammel layoffs are happening?

Dinosaur management

NOV is run by old, white dinosaurs, who care about nothing other than their next, fat bonus check. No care for employees, no vision, no HSE focus. Old shaker hands and un-educated old-boy network that j-rk each other off.

Why furlough or lay off people now?

If I'm not mistaken, we've peaked. It'll be maybe a few more weeks before the whole country is back to work. So why wait and cut people just in time when things are starting to look better?

The Voice

The Voice is taking over as CTO, CMO, CEO, and CFO in the latest plot twist.

I'm really tired of this

Constant guessing, worrying if layoffs will happen this week or next... I'm at the point where I'd much prefer to be laid off right now then have to stress over it for who knows how many more days or weeks (or even months, since there is still no end... — read more

NOV is in a hiring surge?

Fortunately, I did not receive a pink slip yet, but based on the talks here, it seems it is highly probable in the next several weeks. So today I logged into glassdoor.com to update my resume and to find some open positions around here, but to my... — read more

Isn’t it amazing when your plant manager takes all your n95 masked and locks them up in his office in case office personnel is in contact with virus and acts like people in shop have the plague???? This isn’t right by no means!!!

Is it finally over?

It's Friday and I don't remember us ever having layoffs on a Friday before. Of course, considering the situation, I wouldn't be surprised if everything we know from before no longer applies. Is there any way to find out if everybody they were... — read more

Hydra Rig Fort Worth

Are they promoting Sr. VP’s and Making directors with not business, technical or engineering experience Sr. Directors? Lay off your best and brightest and promote the rest. Sad to see a once great company destroyed by the “Ole Boy Network”.
