Do the right thing!!!!

Here is the problem: Imagine two 30 year employees sit next to each other at Ford. One, always a great employee and the other always a marginal/poor employee. Assume each had equal pay, benefits, and pension. Here we are in 2022 and the company is... — read more

SIRP vs VSSP?

If the VSSP was offered to “low performers” why wasn’t a voluntary program done before the SIRP separations in August? I’ve been by countless managers and individuals told that performance was NOT a factor for those selected for SIRP. Why doesn’t... — read more

VSSP is Only for low performers. Confirmed again.

NESC confirmed a VSSP went out to select employees and said talk to PeopleFirst. PeopleFirst confirmed a letter went out to ‘low performers’. She could not provide details on departments and had little info herself. PeopleFirst said the policy team... — read more

Retirement Survey from NESC

Anyone else.who got let go get the retirement survey from NESC? I was halfway through it and having a great time roasting them how awful the entire process was before I realized it was meant for people who retired - not the people who were let go... — read more

Poor performer VSSP

Anyone know if the LL6+ email went to all Orgs or just those not impacted by the August (cough) restructuring? Seems like poor performers would have been included in that action. Aside from the suck ups, why would any still be around?

I'm done with Ford

Once more we have it confirmed that being a good performer is a liability at Ford. We do all the work and all we get is a pat on the back. Low performers get everything they want, especially if they are kissing the right behinds. I'm done with this... — read more

Don't wait to be laid off

Job openings plummeted by more than 1 million from July to August, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Tuesday. Everybody should consider this when deciding whether to stay and wait out layoffs or leave right away. If the trend continues, there... — read more

GM 3rd quarter sales up 24%, Ford down 9%

That's all you need to know! We are hemorrhaging sales to our competitors because of shoddy quality. The F150's reign as the best selling vehicle is in danger. Still think this company is on solid footing?!?

F 150 Guy

Ok guys... So your failed management has a great new idea ... Guys with "low performance" will be cut with a small pay. If you are under 40 try to leave this company that is my advice. It is sad to see such great company ran like a car wash

Family

Is there any bigger joke than this place being called a family company?

I am in shock.

Of all the things to do next, they chose to reward all the quiet quitters, and give just them free 9 months pay. Really?

If you are going you better get at it

NESC can usually process your pension choices form in 2 weeks time. If you have any skeletons in the HR closet like divorce or friend of the court you might want to give your self a little more time. Your spouse’s signature needs to be notarized if... — read more

Poor Henry

Henry Ford had no sense - trying to provide the highest quality vehicle at the lowest possible cost. He had the useless reputation of providing the best car you could buy, and everyone knew it in the country, without social media even! He was just... — read more

Here I became a bitter old man
