What comes next? So many questions...
Closed schools are taught out with an approved teach out plan. For sale schools are advertised for sale. In the time being, what happens if students drop and student population takes a massive nose dive? Does this speed up closures as long as DOE... — read more
CCi owns 107 campuses and are listing 85 and closing 12... where is the other 10?
I'm a little confused on one section. All the articles I have read mention Cci owns/operates 107 campuses in US and Canada. But all the DOE driven articles state CCi is to sell 85 and close 12. Are the remaining 10 the previousluy listed Heald... — read more

Apology email or letter?
Lets not worry about how cci was long overdue to get punished blah blah blah. Or how some of you were wanting this to happen to all of us, which is pretty f***ed up. It was our livelihood, lots of us were doing things ethically. Anyway. Will we... — read more
Is SFS Socle? Heard they were going down.
I'm hearing that SFS in Tampa is being closed. Is that the same thing as Socle or no? It's all so confusing!
I don't know what will happen tomorrow

Payroll question for adjunct
Question for adjuncts--do we have 2 paydates left for this term? A full one on the 11th and a half one on the 25th for this week (grade out week)? Of course all depends on the assumption cci still has cash for payroll.

Has anyone listed to the investor calls?
Everest Online is not profitable. Jack always mentions that they really thought online would take off but it hasn't. The dropout rate for online is by far greater than the ground schools. Students get their laptop and leave. Smh
People, life as we know it is over.
Obama wants government to educate to people. Why is it that you are afraid to say God.
New Summer Term

Losing by the minute.
If I done my math, compare to the ones who have transferred to another school, and compare to the ones that did not do school work in week 12. We have lost over 15,000 students and still counting. Some I hear will be leaving after the term is done... — read more
72,000 students? About 720 students per campus, on average? Based on the campuses in my area that should be no more than 20,000 to 30,000.

Yeah right.....shit that's funny.
SOS meeting tomorrow...I wonder if there will be any updates, or the same???
Inquiring minds want to know. I also would like to know about the updated Form 8-K that's due to SEC.
It is my understanding
that the schools that are NOT in teach out are in a For Sale Bucket; all of them. Its an all or nothing deal with the exception of those in teach out. A purchaser cannot choose to buy 3 campuses, they would need to purchase Everest in whole. Same for... — read more
12 teach-out campuses is very close to 1 out of every 8, or about 13%. Likely much smaller by student population.
Teaching-out a campus takes cash and is expensive. Where is the cash going to come from? The rent must be paid.
