My position was "eliminated" after 14 months of working at a campus and I was given a packet to sign including a "no sue" agreement. I did not have to sign it but they withhold your final check which is your paycheck, your vacation pay etc..

I wasnt ask to sign crap. So disclosing is on like donkey kong!

Hey Anonymous, You are a fool if you think that being on the job for several years means anything to this company! If they can save a buck, they will let you go in a heart beat.

I was contacted by the DoED also. Were you called last Tuesday as well?

I was just let go from Heald College after serving 18 years with the company. No one is safe from the axe!

When are you people going to realize this or any other company do not have any loyalty to you! Be aware of what's going on around you. Things such as that below should not be a surprise.

WyoTech employees told in Feb to use all vacation days by June 30th because they wouldn't role over. This goes against the new vacation policy and leads me to believe mass layoffs are coming June 30. Any insights?

The severence package at CCI is decent. It does depend on how long you have worked for the company. But its starts at 2 weeks of pay plus any holiday and sick hours you have accured and you are able to keep your insurance until the end of the month... — read more 

Corporate always mentions generous severance package for furloughed employees. I have hear about two weeks severance pay and just once that it's one week per year worked at CCI. Does anybody know as a "fact" what the severance packages is?
